I have less than 60 days to the big day and yet a chunk load of the preparations are sitting in my to-do list. The wedding ceremony is pretty much set ( I think) considering that my in-laws are managing that.
The preparation for the reception however, is sitting at perhaps 20% at the most. Here's how I stand
Wedding Hall - check (Thankfully booked this way in advance)
Caterer - pending (We've picked the panel caterer fixed by the hall but have not confirmed the menu and seating arrangement)
Deco - pending (Just met the vendors a couple of hours ago)
Photographer - check
Videographer - check
Sound system - pending (Need to get this moving!)
MC - pending ( Mom says she has someone in mind but is being extremely secretive about it)
Bride's attire - pending ( I've bought my outfit, some tailoring required)
Shoes & clutch - pending ( Gotta buy this!)
Groom's attire - pending (Gotta get this!)
Wedding cake - pending (Finding a vendor)
Wedding favors - pending (Gosh! Do we even need this? Mom insists we must and she's found a vendor - to confirm by this weekend)
Make up artist - pending (Found the beautician. Pretty happy - must have her a call and pay her the deposit)
Mehendi artist - pending (Ain't sure if mom has booked anyone - gotta check)
Performance - pending (I kinda think this is important. Have not met the performers just yet)
Wedding car deco - pending (Must raid craft stores to start working on this!)
Slideshow presentation - pending (Another one on my weekend to do list)
Wedding cards - pending ( Just gave for printing today , should be ready by end of month)
Alarming ain't it?
